From strategy to implementation

Since the webinar, Covestro has continued to drive its sustainability transformation, taking major steps toward scaling product carbon footprint (PCF) transparency.

On January 29, 2025, Covestro published a press release announcing the full digitalization of its lifecycle assessment (LCA) process—a milestone that underscores the company's progress in leveraging automation to enhance efficiency, consistency, and transparency.

To achieve this, Covestro has integrated the AllocNow Product Sustainability Platform (PSP).

This enables Covestro to:

• Scale PCF calculations across its product portfolio with speed and accuracy

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and evolving regulatory frameworks

• Provide customers with verified PCF data for more sustainable decision-making

By leveraging the PSP, Covestro is not only streamlining its internal sustainability reporting but also enabling its customers to better understand and reduce their environmental impact.
