AllocNow Formalises Its Information Security Management with ISO/IEC 27001:2022
As AllocNow operates and evolves its platform for an expanding enterprise customer base, the company has further formalised and externally validated its information security practices through certification according to ISO/IEC 27001:2022, the internationally recognised standard for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS).
Information security has long been an integral part of AllocNow’s platform architecture and operating model. ISO/IEC 27001 provides a structured, internationally recognised framework to document, audit, and continuously strengthen these practices in line with established enterprise governance expectations.
Information security as a foundation for scalable sustainability data
Product-level sustainability data underpins regulatory reporting, strategic decision-making, and cross-company collaboration. As data volumes and business relevance increase, structured information security governance ensures reliability and trust across organisations.
Ensuring that sustainability data is protected throughout its entire data lifecycle - from creation and processing to storage and controlled sharing - supports consistency, transparency, and long-term scalability.
ISO/IEC 27001 establishes a comprehensive approach to managing information security risks, defining clear responsibilities, and continuously improving security controls across organisational processes and systems.
Strengthening enterprise readiness of the AllocNow Product Sustainability Platform
The ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification confirms that AllocNow applies a structured and effective Information Security Management System covering the development, distribution, and operation of software solutions for sustainability management and sustainable business management, as well as the provision of related consulting services.
For customers and partners, this reinforces confidence that sustainability data is managed within a clearly defined, auditable, and continuously improving security framework aligned with enterprise procurement and governance expectations.
Part of a standards-driven approach
The ISO/IEC 27001 certification complements AllocNow’s alignment with internationally recognised sustainability standards and guidelines, including ISO 14044 and ISO 14067 as well as the TfS PCF Guideline. Together, these frameworks support transparency, consistency, and trust in product sustainability data at scale.
